The AquaMAX 250, as its name suggests, has 250L of storage. The AquaMAX 250 has a standard vitreous enamel storage tank.  The AquaMAX 250SS, on the other hand, has a tank lined with more enduring stainless steel. Hence the ‘SS’ in the name.

They both last a long time, but the stainless steel is more resilient and lighter than the vitreous enamel. So if weight and additional longevity are important, the AquaMAX 250SS is probably the better option. It’s only half the weight of the 250L, so it also makes transportation and installation easier.
